 Lately, on Instagram stories, I’ve been sharing cooking adventures with you and my Thai Basil Chicken is on of my most highly requested recipes. This recipe so quick and easy to make. You can literally take it from the fridge to table is less than 30 minute, which makes it a weekday favorite. You asked, I delivered. The recipe is below, enjoy! Thai Basil Chicken

An abundance of whole basil leaves joins chicken and fiery chiles for a quick, delicious, and decidedly spicy stir-fry.

  1. 3 tablespoons of sesame oil (can use your standard cooking oil if you don't have sesame)
  2. 6 small green chilis
  3. 1 red bell pepper
  4. 1 medium onion
  5. 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast
  6. 1/2 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste
  7. 2 teaspoons sugar
  8. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  9. 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  10. ⅓ cup low sodium chicken broth
  11. a fistful of Thai basil leaves
  1. Julienne the red bell pepper and onion
  2. Cut chilis into small pieces
  3. Chop chicken into small cubes
  4. In a wok over high heat, add the oil, onions, chilis, ginger/garlic paste, and red bell pepper and fry for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the chicken and stir-fry for 3 minutes
  6. Add the sugar, soy sauce, and fish sauce
  7. Stir-fry for another minute and as the oil soaks up, add the chicken broth
  8. Add the basil, and stir-fry until wilted
  1. Don't be afraid to cook this entire meal on high heat
  2. Serving with rice is optional, we generally skip the rice to avoid the extra calories
